When my Mums files the photos on puter she puts the ones shes likes on the desktop, THEN forgets about them for days. Anyway this is a mixed bag of shots so mums can clean up her desktop.

Today was the last day for dog club till next year, Mums forgets the camera so skin sis who came to see me do my test tooks some photos with her phone. I did pass grade 1 ands gots a wibbon buts mums hasn't taken a photo of thats so you can see the photo of that some other time ands my entry number gots pulled out first so I got a chicken and a bottle of wine, not sure whats happened to its cause I didn't see it my dinner dish tonight and I had promised Ailsa she could have some of its cause she stayed home with Dads.

After dog club, remembering I cants go every week as its on a Sunday and we go see skin sis sometimes if the weather is nice Mums takes me to the dog beach for a run, I been three times now, first time I wasn't sure about it so stuck to Mums, she said it was a prize making heel. Today Ailsa, Merlin and I were left in our various pens as Auntie Joan, Mum, Dad, Skin sister and a couple of Uncle Eric's friends saw him off on his last journey. Dads was a bit worried as he sometimes gets a bit sea sick and the weather had promised 3 metre swells and high winds but Uncle Eric must of been keeping watch as it was a lovely morning and not too choppy for them while they were out on the water. He spent many many years helping dogs and there humans. He was in his young days in the Merchant navy, In his retirement he volunteered at the Devonport Maritime Museum so as a tribute they hoisted the flags to see him off, a great honour as the flags are about a hundred years old. They could be seen fluttering in the wind as the "George" went out to sea to set him off on his last voyage.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi everyone. Ailsa here. Wells the kid is keeping me entertained, Mums is doing lots of training with her as she can be a bit thick, thats Teesha nots Mums. Teesha just loves everybody and thing but is getting very defiant ands I didn't teach her thats as I'm a good girl, wells yes I do tell fibbers.

Mums is finding dog training a bit tediousdull as Teesha loses interest quickly, with all the rest of us she would intersperse it with play and give the cues during play but as Teesh doesn't play that doesn't work. Mums says she needs play as Teesha may lose interest quickly but she herself gets bored too so Teesha may be picking up on that. Mums would like to get Teesha evaluated for therapy work in the New year so may make a list of things Teesha has to pass, put it here on the blog and cross them off as its done. That may help her keep on track.

Mums was doing "Step" its elevating the two front paws on something to make grooming easer for humans.

Mums puts jumps in the garden so I hads to show the kid whats to do with them, she has only just learned how to jump in the back of the car so now Mums doesnt need to take the ramp, she still just walks over the jumps. Mums has to keep themes low as I likes to use them so mights hurt myself.

Rest time

Mum has noticed that the kid has a preference for Loliepop colours, bright pinks, lime, purples, yellow that type of thing, the colours Mums hates. She still doesn't play with toys or pick up things but likes to cuddle up in soft rugs and is picking bright colours, mums was having trouble getting her to go out to mat so gots a bright baby playmate from the opp shop, she loves it. Teesha that is and a barbie pink soft toy that she is showing a bit of interest in, she is also doing find the treat from under a bright pink cone.

Burtie is looking a bit sorry for himself as he gots bashed up by something. He goes across the lane to next doors barn so he may of gots in a fight, we don't have a feril cat problem around here so hope one isn't starting as he has a bad scratch in his ear and some punture wounds, it could also of been a quoll (or native cat) in which case he is lucky. Jessie a previous cat, Burtie and Brodie pretty much chased stray wild ones off over the years so Burtie cant do it on his own at his age and I'm to old to help and Teesha, well lets face it, she would probably escort them to the dinner plate. SHE hasn't barked or even whimpered yet even when she got her paw trod ons.

Mums been slack again, its not that we not been doing anything, more that to much been going on, you know how she told you, i been wrecking the bedshedroom, well did she tell you they been gone out three times + now and I done nothing, NO, she did not. 12+ years ago when Tara died Mums and dad put a tree at her spot, in the plant pot there was a couple of seedlings. Mums said to pull themes out but dads said, no he liked forgets me nots. Teesha here, Mums been slack and not been on computer so I'm late with my Sunday club day. Theres was only a couple of us there in our class this week buts we had lots of fun, diesel an me gots there early so we sats and watched the big dog class in the distance,

I just gots back from dog club now I'm knackerd and just wants to sleeps buts I just been enjoying a sunbeam coming through the window. I had a play with a couple of nice doggies, I will make sure mums takes the camera withs her next time we go. Theres a Great dane thats HHUUUUGE, a border collie who went to piddle on me when I was laying down and Mums growled at it so it didn't, a grey schnauzer, a houndy type dog, a beagle and me buts theres lots of other dogs in other groups for me to looks at buts mums wouldn't lets me go to them as she doesn't know themes yet and nots all of them may be safe.

I also went for a walk with Merlin who lives up the road with Mums friend but he's a bit protective when he's at home so club is a good chance for us to make friends on nutrial ground, bye for nows, I'm goings to bed.

Opps sorry, time flies when your having fun. Well what can I say, the kid is doing well, can be a bit defiant sometimes but as I've trained the humans well they should expect this from time to time from us, were still having home alone problems though since I'm with her she's not actually alone and we get given a kong and have soft music playing buts who knows whats goes on in her little red head. The shedbedroom is down to a reduced sized bed, no mattress, it got turned 4 times before it ran out of corners, 1 pillow (was 6) 0 donnas (was 2) 1 blanket (was 4) and a few remnants. I keep telling her the pillow is MINE, we know theres some new stuff as she managed to get one of the drawers a bit open and get the corner of a new blankie out and chewed it off except it wasn't the corner but the middle of the edge so its bin made into a coat as she shaped the neck right, isn't she clever (NOT), makes her own dog coats, the shed toy bin is down to a couple of chew rings and 1 soft toy ball.

Home alone

She's doing well on drops and sits and stuff but isn't good on the lead as she zig zags, she is very touch sensitive so mums is thinking harness, she was going to get one she read about called Walkeez buts none of the places that used to sell them seem to have full size range and even though Teesh is still skinny she is very deep chested so gots to have quite a large one but in most harnesses that means the rest of it is to bigs. Mums thinks they may of gone out of production so will have to do some more research to find something else nice and soft, she has been allowed in the padock with me as long as she has her long line on so a harness woulds be better with that. mums tied a small kong on the ends of it so I played chaise with it cause the twit was running around.

Mums is now taking her to dog club as theres more dogs and people around, she can't goes every week as its on the day skin sis comes to visit or Mum ands Dad goes to visit her. She still wont play with toys, balls or stuffies. Mums made some throw toys with pockets in them to fill with treats, they are good funs. On Veranda telling the kid she has work to do.

I was thinking its time the kid learned to use the puter, its to damn cold in the puter room for me to spend to much time on it so I was showing her the ropes so to bark.

She says whats with dog school and homework she feels a bit brain dead buts I think that may be her general everyday self, she does two things, runs and cuddles and chops things to bits if she's left alone.

Mums says if Teesha can pick up a toy to shred it when they goes out out she can pick up a toy when they wants her to. I thinks Mums at frustration level in a nice way of course. Mums has never belived that we dogs know guilt but we do know fear and even putting a toy next to her she boults she specialy dislikes tennis balls.

Bed teddy, she only cuddles and noses it, never picks it up.

I can hear some of your humans now, saying Oh yes they do you should see his/her face, but not so, we just see there face or hear there voice and we know they is cross but not what they are cross about but since we are usually right in front of them then it must be us. MUms is not showing any cross ness, she would actually like to SEE her pick something up even if its to chomp just so she could praise and treat her for picking it up then she can start teaching her all sorts of stuff like find, carry and pick up for mums and well you gets the idea.

Its hard work and I have to oversee things to make sure there teaching her right, but she seems to be learning.

Mums and Dads have to be carefulls theres no native hens or wabbits around for her to spot as her recalls still need work but she's getting much better, they run her in the driveway so the pictures had to be lightened so you could see her as its been a bit dull and wet here.

Because her prey drive is still uncontrolled she is always kept on a lead except for driveway runs as its the only place that can be checked for wandering wildlife.

Ailsa has given me this bed

Hi every one, its me Ailsa. New kid can't type yet, she's now called TEESHA. Well, she seems to be settling in and don't tell anyone but I actually quite like her, makes me look good. MUms took her to Vet on the Monday after she gots here because she had mastitus and vaganitus and for general check up as she so thin.

In car going to vet for the second time since she got here

On the Tuesday first time Mums and Dads had to go and we were in the pen, SHE gots out and kilt some chickens. Nows they knew she climed fences so dads hads put a cover on the pens buts the gate was open. Me I was inicent and snuggled deep ins my bed when theys got home. I waited for the shoutings as I knew therbe trouble and Dads was saying "she'll have to go" Mums took her round the garden picking up the chickens and burrying then and the girl trying to get attention and mums was giving her the silant treatment. Now from experiance I know thats worse then the yelling.

Lazy dinner

Because she had mastitus and it was so cold that morning Mums put my favourit coat on her as it was the smallest, so I wasnt impressed that bits of it was on all the fences as she had tried to get through thems. She also gots a scratch on her forehead so now has a bindi as it will probably scar as it gots infected. Ands this was only by the 3rd day with us ands I hadnt even hads my lunch.

Innocent of all wongs

After checking the pen dads decided she had scratched the gate so that the boult had fallen and then when she pulled at the bird netting it had pulled it open. So Thursday he put an extension on the gate and another boult. They put us in the pen, though why I had to go in there I don't know. I told her to lay down and be quiet but no she had to check all the pen climbing up the wire and then she got to the gate and showed them cause they were looking through the window. she put her flat paw through the wooden slats and slid the boult cept the extra barrer meant she couldnt open it so she spent the rest of the time checking out the corners. Next day a security door went on the shed so on the following Tuesday when they went out we were in the shed and couldn't get into the pen. But at least she was still there. I wet my bed because I couldn't get out and she shredded a pillow but Mums said "no matter" as it wasn't the first time they had been shredded and re stuffed and bedding can be washed.

The new Girl, Again

Its been raining so I haven't explored a lot yet buts I so do like those tummy scratches

I tried to get her into the obedience class that start tomorrow but they were full so will have to wait a few weeks though it might be better to leave it until she is more relaxed, and we can work alone, just I would really like to let her off lead and can't do that unless she is in an enclosure. I also need to get her to a Vet as she has weak paws and a couple of other things need to be checked so am hoping to get her in tomorrow but being a Monday I may not get there until Tuesday. I know I'm being impatient, her back paws don't seem to be as bad its mainly the front left one, we think she may of injured it but she's not telling.

After a long road journey then a air flight she arrived, we got to the airport and spotted the plane saw some dog cages arriving at the animal pick up and got all exited only to see a cat and wrong dog. NEXT plane. It arrived and eventually we saw the dog wagon coming across the tarmac.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, Quarantine man. I havn't got my papers. Maybe there among this lot.

Tasmania is a hydatid free state so all dogs have to have been treated. Papers were arriving but not yet. Dogs can be held or a $250 fine if not complied with. I had gone to the vet the day before and picked up treatment for her just in case so she was free.

The day had all ready been a chalenge. She spotted a chicken under a bush and showed her high prey drive that got her in trouble in the first place. She will be kept restrained and on lead for a long time until she has a better recall but she is very very gentle and sweet.

Buster Cube and Girl arrival

One of my favourite toys is the buster Cube. As you know I'm 13, they are supose to be indistructable wellls, this one is my third. In my younger days it couldn't be used in the house as the cube was known to fly several dogs high in the air and traveled at such high speeds across the ground mums quite often had brused ankles. Brodie never quite got the idea but he did learn that flying cubes meant skattered treats so as I kicked and spun he pinched the treats.

Tomorrow the humans pick up the new girl. She has a long long trip that started yesterday, wonder if she plays cubes.

A Cold Damp Morning

Do you like leaves? I love them, I love to kick my paws and bury my head in them. When I was a young girl I would chase the leaves when they fell off the trees, but my very favourite game is to wait till Dads or Mums makes them into a big pile and I jump in it and roll over and well I damn well enjoy myself and if the sun is shining I often fall asleep in them as there so cosy. These are all wet and damp, its been raining and we been having heavy frosts so I'm hopping they get raked up before they start to rot.

Hi everyone.
Ailsa here. We thought it was time I said hello, as you know Brodie was the one that did most of the chatting as he was the kid in the family. I spend a lot of time just laying around, as I can't run around any more as my legs forget what way they should be going but I still love to walk s-l-o-w-ly around the garden. I was 13 on May 11 so I have excuse to go slow.

My day is, sleep, eat, have tablets, walk round garden sleep, have tablets, eat sleep well you gets the idea, Mums said its a wonder I don't rattle.

My morning tablets

Mums been trying to get a good photo of me but as soon as she clicks the button I put my head down. she thought it might be the flashy but thinks I hear it click as she tried putting flashy thing off but made no difference.

As you will see from the photos I've taken up Bros spot in the kitchen to keep an eye on food preparation. I still have the bed under the kitchen table that was put there when I was sick, I use that in the daytime.

I sleeps a lot

ON the news front, I've heard them talking about some dog thats might be coming to live with us, she's a long long way away, she has a big road trip that has to be organised and thens she will be puts on one of those big birds that swallow you up and make loud noises then spits you out at some other place,. I know all abouts big birds as when I was a pup I was put on one and they lost me so I have always been frightened of noise, then Mums and Dads will take a drive and bring her to live with us.

I drinks LOts of water now so its been moved into the kitchen.

Burtie is fine, doesn't have Brodie to cuddle up to so is hassling mums a bit but he did see that there are a lot of look a likes on the computer so might start a club.

I'll hate to tell the new girl when she arrives but ALL the beds are mine, I uses them all at different times of the day, she wont get here for week or so as she has just had operation. She has a family that loves her buts for her own safety she had to be rehomed so mums found her through rescue, she has to learn to live in a house, just as long as she knows the beds are mine.

The last photo

It seems only yesterday we opened a gate to "look at the pups" and they all ran forward then went about there play except the tallest in the bunch, he waged his tail and hubby bent to pat him, then I walked in the yard and sat down and spent an hour talking and looking at the rest. Hubby says what one do you want. I looked at him and said, Looks like the decisions made. That tall skinny pup who was suppose to be going to someone else but hadn't been picked up was still by our side. and he stayed by our side till the early hours of this morning at 6:30 am when he lost his battle with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia that he crashed with on April 1st, we will never know what brought it one, it was a long hawl and I wonder, did I hold on to long, but some days were good and we felt he was going to make it, it wasn't to be. Run with the wind my Baby.

Hi Guys, Brodie here. I's feeling real goods today, not quits my mischeviouse self ands I still a little bits off my foods ands my poos are still a little orange ands I still having little blue pills buts todays I wanted to goes out for a walk ands I took interest in things an well I just felt a bits better.

No its not his coat, if there going to buy at sales you'd think they put some flowers on it.

Ailsa to is much better, she eating as wells ands SHE was naughty cause she went walks about and mums had to go looks for her an SHE was in the chooks place, mums yelled at her so she must of bin feeling better for mums to yell ats her, she didnt listen buts so mums had to go turn hers around and aways from the chookes cause she woulds eats fudge given chance I wasn't naughty so missed outs.

Dads came home froms town and he hads gots us some chicken wings, ands we ate some, last weeks we woulds of sniffed thems and turned away. We still drinking lots and piddling lots and gets tired quickly and mums watching very carefully in case our tummies get big and she still keeps lookings in my mouth to check my gums.

Ailsa and Brodie update

Ailsa on Sunday.

Things plod along at the house, its a bit like a roller coaster, one minute there up, next down, if its not one its the other. I took a Brodie urine sample to the vets on Friday and once more it showed blood, getting him to eat and drink is a problem, he is back on another lot of antibiotics and Macrolone, the tests seem to point to Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia.

Ailsa was not so good on Sunday and at one stage I did wonder if I should make that dreaded phone call, she has an appointment tomorrow (Monday). I think they have a pact to get sick on weekends, more points for after hours. Her bad turns are getting more frequent but is a happy soul in the good times, big problem is keeping her quiet when she is as she over exerts herself but who are we to stop her living the life she loves. I'm not sure she would be happy if kept restrained. But if she leaves I'm not sure Brodie will pull through and I'm not sure I could stand the pain of losing the two of them.

Tonight, keeping mums company

We have searched every inch of the place but can't find anything they could of got into, the only variable is the dog biscuits, a new bag a few days before they got sick so have bought a different type for when they do now eat, veg are all home grown organic and meat is human grade as most pet grade has preservatives and that nutralises Ailsas thyroid tablets, test don't show the possibility of snake bite, only thing I haven't had checked is the water as were on bore, its possible that both getting sick at the same time is just a coincidence but both had there check up a couple of weeks before and apart from Ailsa having arthritis and Brodie being a bit over weight both were well and healthy.

Yesterday it was Ailsa's vet check, she was a bit more perky, she in't carrying so much fluid but has washed out to much salt from her system, probably didn't help her arthritis, she has more diuretics but at a reduced rate and a repeat of her heart meds. she has tablets to help clear the congestion on her chest, I also picked up some tablets for Brodie to help stimulate his appetite as he's not eating well and needs to or his Macrolone will give him tummy upsets.

Glad most of there tablets come in different colours,

Today, has been good but the roller coaster ride we have had for close to three weeks means I'll just go with the flow. What will be will be. I would like to think they have turned the corner but we have had good days then next moment one or the other is down again. Age means that Ailsa will never get fully better but she deserves to live her old age in comfort. But yes today has been good.

Trying to keep my mouth safe

Sunday morning I hads to go for 12hr monitoring, I was a bits dehydrated buts didn't feel like drinking. I hads the needle thingy put back in my leg and was given some more drippy juice ands gots my wee tested thats my daddy caught off me ands put in a bottle and my bloods count done again, Blood count was a bit higher buts I still had blood in my wee but nots as much. After I had my check and while I was getting my juice another little dog was getting checked, its was given some cat foods but didn't eats it so I did. I hads my leg wraped up for refuel latter and went homes again to mys own beds. I was just so tired so alls you getting is pictures of Ailsa ands me resting as she's not to well either. Everytime anyones wents past me they lift ups my lip.

Sunday evening, backs we go for my next 12 hour check and the rest of my juice,. I really dints feel like doing anything and I didn't wants to get out of mys bed buts this time Daddy was comings too as skin sis had gone home to Munchkin who used to be Zoro. I just wanters to rest, I was so sick of alls the prodding and poking and Everybodys keep checking my mouth or earflaps.

It was decided that as he was so despondent and showing that he just wanted to crawl in a dark spot and be left alone that we would not go back to the vet unless it was needed until Blood test came back from pathology.

Today I didn't feel to good ins the morning, didn't want to eat or drinks. I was going for a check in the afternoon. Mums just left me to sleeps in the sun. thens the gas man cames and I tried to barks, didn't do a goods job but its felt good. Dads had gone into town ands got me some chicken thats I ate, Mums caught some of my wee ands and in the afternoon we wents to the vet, I was feeling quite goods by then. I'm just eating little bits at a time and I tire easily buts I feeling much better.

We still don't know what caused Brodies sudden acute anaemia, snake bite was a possibility but ruled out by pathology, his blood count was 16 when I first rushed him to the vet, he was for some reason bleeding into the gut. Scan didn't show any abnormalities. Todays urine was clear, no blood in it. his blood pressure is normal and blood count still not normal but rising. All we can do is keep a watch on him and hope he keeps on improving. Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts.

Hi All,
This is Ailsa and Brodie's Skin Sister. Thank you all for thinking of him and posting some big barks on his blog. Mum and I felt that you would like an update.

Ailsa is getting better. It appears that her tablets are having an effect and she has perked up. What really perked her up was Brodie coming home.

Yes he came home today. The Vet left a drip in and showed us how to control it so that he could be comfy at home. He is a tiny bit better, but we still don't know what's wrong. He's had blood taken, but it's a weekend, so it won't go the the lab until Monday. I hope that he makes it till then. We have all spent time on the couch with him. I'm sure that he just wants us all to leave him alone so that he can have some peace!

Tonight we've been back to the Vet for his 12 hour check. Brodie managed to pull his drip out as we got him out of the car and the vet could not re-insert it as his blood pressure is to low. He's had more drugs, so we're just keeping him comfortable at home. Mum couldn't bare to have him all alone in a cold steal cage for another night.

Brodie has another appointment at the Vets tomorrow morning at 09:30. I hope he makes it.

I'm not sure how many of you still pop in here as I haven't been good at passing on Brodie and Ailsa's events. But if any of you are good at sending out healing vibes we need them now. A week last Wednesday evening Brodie who had been his usual self refused dinner. walked around the dish and sat looking, walked around again then slowly started eating it, I took it off him half way through as I felt his body was saying no, next morning I watched for poos, it was orange and runny, he wanted breakfast. he was taken to vet and it was thought he may of got into the grapes as one bit of runny poo had a grape in it. But she didn't feel he had a blockage as I had feared, he was given antibiotics and put on a light diet of small frequent meals, no more runny poos but still orange in colour. Through the week they have all been mid firm to soft but not runny, he been drinking lots and peeing lots but quite happy.

Yesterday. Ailsa, 12+10 months who is very arthritic and stiff got up with difficulty, refused breakfast, we took her for a walk but she had a lot of difficulty moving I though she may of had a stroke, she could get up the steps but not walk straight, we got back inside and she climbed on the lounge and went to sleep. I left her there and phoned the vet, appointment mid day, one hour later Ailsa is up and checking the food stands, she ate her Breakfast and looked for more. At vet check blood was taken but the first needle showed she had dropsy, she is now on fluid tablets and heart meds, is eating but the cold change is hitting her hard and she is looking for Brodie so I can't settle her down tonight.

Brodie is in intensive on drips, I would prefer to be with him, its alway my fear that should they leave that they will be alone, he's never been alone in his whole 9 1/2 years of life. I was at work today so he spent the day with Hubby, Brodie has a lounge chair in the computer room that by choice he uses in the daytime when inside. Mike heard a thump and found Brodie on the floor, he thought he had fallen off, Brodie was a bit slow when he got up, when I got home Mike opens the back door and the dogs run to greet. Brodie only got to just outside the door and stood there. I checked him over, his gums said he was anemic, eyeballs dry, phoned after hours and drove him to the vet, he was put on a drip immediately, after about an hour a bit of colour came into his gums but he is not good.

Mums spotted it from the bathrooms window ans was fraid it had its foots caught, but it didn'ts, its was just havin love afair with a pwatend eagle mums had in there to stop the birds eating our raspberries. I's do a good job of keeping the lions froms our place buts the wildlife really do take advantage of my resting time.

Hi Friends, me Ailsa here.

Sorry we haven't been around but we need help to type and Mums heart hasn't been in it, lots of reasons, and it doesn't help that we don't get up to much except lay around and keep the humans company. I'm getting a bit wobbly on my legs so can't run and play like I once did and Brody is just lazy, every so often he decides he wants to chase me buts I just cant run as long, minds you I did find a wallabi in the chook yard the other week and forgot all my akes and pains as I hopped and bounced right after it, was a bit stiff, no a lot stiff next day but it was all worth it as Mums said my eyes sparkled for ages after. I'm still as defiant and cheeky as I've always been but Brody has my place on the bed now as I can't get up on it but Mums still cant leave things on the bench or table as one way or another I can inhale as I pass by and walla its in my mouth and down my tummy before a blink of an eye.

Anyways months ago my basket went -----flat. this is the basket you seen in the laundry and its my domain, sometimes I let my bro use it but I get priority. It used to be Wilmots an he gave it to me, he got it off his friend Glory who lived up the road as she didn't like it so its about 14 to 15 yrs old. Mums tried to get another one but none of them were very strong. my basket been mended so many times buts it was … flat and not much left of it except it being mine.

Anyways Mums was cleaning out her craft room and pulled out the box she kept her fabrics in and well I couldn't resist I tried it for size, well the few $100 worth of fabric did make a nice soft bed but I got turfed out when Mums found me all curled up, but then she said if I liked it I could try it buts without her fabric so she padded the edges and put my old cushion in and now I have a new day bed.

Bro has tried it and sometimes gets in buts he's actually a bit big for it. I fit in just snug. Mums says I might not be able to get in it when I get stiffer but for now its mine, its got little wheels on it and sometimes daddy pretends I'm in a car and pushes me in it, sometimes he's sillier then me.

Zoro is still with us, well not with us but alive. no Brody didn't eat him. One by one all our pet bunnies got mixo as well as her newest baby that she kept to keep Zoro company, all the wild ones dissapired too, for weeks she was terrified Zoro would catch it but the weeks went by. Skinsis bought her own house so once out of the flat were she couldn't have pets and as soon as the quarantine time was over Zoro was taken to live with her. Anyways thats about it for now. mums says we don't do much but we did lots of odds and ends but now its all old news so she could of helped us to tell you while it was new.

Taken on Boxing day while on holliday with us. Zorro (about 3kg now) he now gets called Munchkin.

It's beens christmas and we's had alls the familys here. My skin Bros and his wifes, Skin Sis and Zorro's been staying for a fews days.

It's been such as long times since we's last blogged. Mum's bunnies alls got sicked and dieds. Mums was very sads and she says we's no longer gonna have bunnies any mores. Then Mum's computer dieds and dads had to gets her a news ones so we couldn'ts blog...................

Wells we havnt been on here for ages. trouble is we don't really gets up to much, so we donts have anything to talks about. ands when we do have exitment mums never has the camera. thinks I tolds you all before we have oddles of wabbits running round the place, we tried catching thems but didnt do much goods so now dads does it for us wiv his gun ands I go catch/gets them for him. Buts Mums wents to download the photos ands she lost them.

Thens theres the wallabies. they stomping round ours garden and smashing stuff and eating everythin. So we now eatings the problem one. Mums and dads had to cooks it though as Ailsa wont eat raw wallabie, me I'm happy either way. Mums wont cook it in the house so they used the BBQ so being as they had to lit it up they decided they may as well cooks some sausages too for lunch so we helped them eat those to.

I gave a bark ands went to look but she kept on barking ans wouldnt look close at it. mums even tried taking her for a walk so she came around the back of it buts she still kept barking at its, in the end funny thing had bickies in his lap so she couldnt resist and went up to it, then she did silly side way walks cause she knew she had bin stupid. it sat on the step for a couple of days till it was decided were to puts it. it was a birthday pressies to mums from Dad.

Mums didnt gets to do Blues True Colour Thursday as she ran outs of day, or is that days, this weeks colour was Puce. Buts she had the plate done so it seems a pitty to waste the effet so here it is.

This week for Blues meme the colour is Snow White, since its Summer we don't have snow, not that we ever get more then a flurry here but they can drive up the road a few km to play in it, there hasn't been much the last few years though.

Zorro, snow white fur is still a bit thin and he's still only 1/4 size he should be buts is getting bigger. We took this photo tonight as mums wanted a photo of him drinking his bottle as it was white too but he let go just as she tooks the picture. Mums did think of putting him on the plate but thought it might give us ideas.

OK. there not white, but the plate is. the white ones had all gone and Mums not good at remembering to take photos. now if she had planned right she could of got a whole lot of plate shots taken over Christmas to just about cover the next few colours. You know hows we hunt wabbits, ans we catch them ands we eat thems well theres some that are our friends who we never chase or anything. Abby was our wabbit, she had been sick for a few weeks Mums was trying to make her better but then she had babies, abby that is, Mums didnt think they would live as she couldnt eat as she hads a lump in her throt so was getting thinner and thinner so Mums had to force feed her, then 4 days before Christmas on the day the babbies opened there eyes Abby died.
They were so very small, half the size they should of been. Mums only had lamb milks and a bike valve to feed them two died the first night then the biggest and strongest was misplaced. Mums thinks Burtie gots it buts it could climbs out of the basket but she really doesnt know what happened. One died Boxing Day morning, leaving us with Zorro because if he lives he'll be a legand.

True Colour Thursday

Today the colour for Blue is CANARY YELLOW. Mums said canary is a bird buts we donts have any of thems, you can scroll down to the black coccotooos as they haves yellow on there cheeks and tails. Anyway heres us laying under the yellow chain tree, its somit called a laburnium.

And a closser up of it, Bumble does have a yellow strip but he turned round and flew off.

Mums cant remeber whats this is called, its was in the garden when they first came here over 20 yrs ago, it brings in the Spring so it just about finished flowering.

A yellow iris but they fell down in the wind, Mums had hoped a newer flower would of opened for you but it didnt open in time.

Every Christmas skin sis and mum make rocky road so mums starts to buy bits of stuff for it, she buys jubes and jellies and just uses the red ones for it an the rest go into Dads lollie jar. this week she gots some snakes becuse apart from some yellow ones and a couple of green ones they were all red except she has now opened the packet for the PLATE, she was last seen taping up the bag incase she starts eating the red ones since most of the yellow ones are in her tummy.

After eating the snakes she thought of a healther alternative for the plate.

But since its nighttime and she will be going to bed soon and cheese will keep her awake all night we helped out.

Its seems thats not only haves I had to have serous discushoin withs mums buts Skin sis has also hads talks with her, skins sis has bin tripsing around the mainland for a few weeks and it seems when she needed puppy fix she woulds visit my blog ands you know what!! I hadnt updated it much cause Mums was to busy alls the time. . Satsdays the sheeps got sheared thens on Sundays real early mums and dads went outs, nows when theys went they said we couldnts go cause dogs were nots allowed so we wasnt to pleased whens they gots home and we coulds smell one on thems, this is it !!!!, donts know its name but it seems its at the Deloraine craft fair they go to every year, it sits outside the tent were its dad has a wood turning stall.

Anyways after we tolds them off big time by pushing and shuffing our snouts all over thems to say there was no points telling fibs as wherever they had bin there was dogs !! thens we founds this bag,

now Ailsa is the bag girl so she tooks over the search and we /she founds crunchys,

she pulleds the bag out and opened its up so we gots some before Mums rescued them an she was being naughty gobbling thems and not shairings an they have to last us a while as they sometimes cants get them ands we love them heaps.

this is rescude ones on top of fridge, top bucket is whats we had left from when they wents to agfest an the bottom one and bag is our new ones, they will have to last till skin sis goes to Hobart.

Whens mum took the crunchys away Ailsa checked the bag again ands there was more. BIG BOYs nows we only usely gets them as specils like bifdays buts they were a you bin good suprise for us. AILSA !!! ONE OF THEMS IS MINE. For Christmas we wants a Whopper

I was collecting alll my teddies as I was going to post one for Mack and Sally Ann's cutest Bear award buts by the time I founds all my outside ones and collected the ones on the veranda ands from all my beds I was to tired to pose wiv one as I couldnt decide whats one was my favourits, so I had a sleeps while I thouts till its was to late. This weeks colour is Black as in Halloween cept we don'ts do Halloween so I's not sure hows to do that buts I do know black. We missed green last week, ours Mums is being very slack and nots helping us wiv our blog, says she to busy and needs to do Spring cleaning before spring is over and wiv Christmas in a couple of months, an she gots sewing to do !!!! excuses excuses excuses, she also thinks were a bits boring as alls our photos are the same since most times the only times she gots the camera ready is in the house ands thens were sleepies, anyways Ivs had discushoin wivs her and she says she wills try to do better.

These are little black tadpoles in ours ponds. I is waitng fors thems to change into froggies so I cans chase thems

We donts have a black teddy ands I couldnts find my black monkey, I thinks I left it out side in our dogie pen. these are Black Cocatoos instead, you were going to see thems for green last weeks. they are eating the seedpods on the Banksia Bush by our veranda.

Heres a closer looks. they are very bigs. they fly away and sware ats me when I chase thems off making a big skreeching noise thats I dont like.

Didn't think we were going to make it this week, Mums was late taking photos again.

Mums gots lots of Pink teddy bears but we thoughts we should have these ones here.
Mums favourit Camilia, most of the flower buds got knocked off in the wind before they opened this year.

One of Dads Rhodos, we loves running around the paths in the Rhodo garden, most flower in November buts a lot have all ready finished and some havn't gots many buds on them.

Only Azalia out at the moment that hasnt been eaten by the walabies.

This is our newest Magnolia. its the first time its flowered, it would probably of gots more flowers on it if Ails and I didnt keeps licking the blood and bone up everytime dads puts some on it.

I dont have any pink toys cause I'm a boy, okay I got mauve thats close buts no pink but Ailsa has a pink pig that she uses as a pillow when she's not pinching my Mango bear.

Our week

We havnt gots up to much this as we had this lot of cleanings up again because of big winds that blew down branches and stuff so we hads another bonfire, I likes bonfires. we hads lovely weather last week buts its raining again now.
We been so rushed off our paws workin um overseeing we are feeling a bits guilty cause we havnts gots to marks our watering spots over the last week buts we have been to visits you.

I also been having trouble gettings Mums to do our blog for us, I keeps telling her thats it will be only wednesday and Thursday again if she doesnt watch it.

Fertalising the grass in the woodpile area we are cleanings up. Its was a lots of hards work cleanings it all up we hads to have lots of rest breaks to keep us going.

Some of you were wondring whats I was ripping ups last wedda, wellll I was saving my mums from eating somthing bads for her, it was a carton of cream, well its wasnt a full one but it still hads lots in it. I found it sitting on the kitchen bench all by itself, so I just hads to take a look ats what it was, Yummmmmmmmmm yummmmmmmmmmmys, wells I figured if mums forgots to puts it away I may as wells have it, so i dids

I also helps Mums finish her jigsaw and thens we had lots of sleepies. in fact Mums gots so many sleepies photos of us we may gets her to do a sleepie day.

Ailsa hads a sore ear as I actedently bits her, she jumped ups as I was daydremming an I swung round and caught her so she didnt talk to me for a few days buts we all made up now.

Mums was a bits concerned as ailsa kept turnin her back on me evry time I went to see whats I had done, Buts we all frends again cept she tried to hog all the computer chair insted ofs keeping to her side buts we worked it out.

We really dont mean to just have Wednesday and Thursday but Mums really must gets her self organised, once again its been a mad rush to gets photos done for Blue. I mean she even had one photo and still didnt have thems ready and thanks to Maggie and Mitch we all readys had the idea for the plate so she didnt even have to get her silver or is that grey brain cells working. But no teddies, so first off you haves our limosene, its silver.

Ands Mums found these in the pantry thats she once used to put on cakes till she cracked a tooth, they were a bits out of date so nows they all gone into our tummies buts she didnt gets a photo as she was to slow.

This week is RED as in berry, as usuall mums left it to last minute as in today. We didnt get much done on our blog at all this week, Mums being slack, All the cleaning ups we did last couple of weeks in the garden was all replaced on the weekend when we had lots of wind that brought down branches alls over the place. Lots of people losted there lectricity an we live at the back ofs woop woop so we didnt haves any for two days. buts we do have lots of fire woods as a row of trees went down like skittles in ours bush. Most of the flowers are tattered but giving there last bit of buity were these berry red tulips.

Mums is hopeing thats one day this plate will break as its getting harder to thinks of things to put on it. so you got the last of last seasons jam.

The weeks are going to fast. Last weekend we had a birfday dinner for our skin sis, we didn't have enough blue and yellow candles so its one for 10 and some single years. Ailsa is helping stick them in., we wasnt allowed any cake cause it was a chocolate one.

Mums doesnt have a blue and yellow ted so she put a yellow ribbon on Bluey

And all that was left of the cakes when all the greedy humans ate its all.

Todays colour is GOLD as in Autumn's golden glow. Hmmm, Its Spring. Now why didn't we take photos then. You may of noticed by now that our world revolves inside our fence line and wereas Mums would quite easily go around taking snaps of everything when she goes into town Dads is a bits shy so you first gots us, can you see our angel wings, they have a golden glow. Mums could of painted our buster cube gold.

Here we are again from the weekend when we was helping clean up again, laying in the golden sunshine, since we havnt see much of it lately we gots to make the most of it, see the chook, she's golden, she's gots lots of names, full one is Recalcitrant, sometimes Recalt, Wanda, or ****, shes a free spirit so except for feed times doesnt stay with the other chooks, she sleeps in the fir tree at night.

This is the bottle brush growing by the shed. sometimes the parrots get into it and chomp up the brushes.

Mums got this teddie from the Opp shop. She needs a better coller an she hasnt a name yet.

Now then, we dont have a teddy this week, ands I know your wondering whys we have a photo that isnt gold buts you gots to use your imagination. This is Ailsa and my shed. But as you see it gets used by someone else, nots only that as it is Spring, buts they even stayed with us the last two winters. Mums doesnt recon it will stay up long enough as its allready craking up and look.

And under the nest is the mess they makes of our house. Its been to wet for Mums to clean it out for us, an once again is me whos a bits golden.

Big Hunt

We was going on our afternoon walk on our hill when we spotted a wabbit running ups there so I tooks off after its. This is me on the hill. Ailsa is checking the rushes as she likes to go thro the tunnals pwetending shes a big game hunteres

I founds a wabbit hole so I stuck my heads in to see if its was home.

It was a bit small so I knocked on its door.

Anyways I wasn't getting any further cause its had a tree root ins the way so I gave my sis a call cause shes better at digging than me.

Fill the bag stuffies

Do you alls have rituls with your stuffies. Mums gets most of mines from the opp shop she works in ands when theres mountains of stuffies she puts them for a "fill the bag sale", its at that time I gets a choice as she usually buys a bag full for me ands whats I dont want goes to her friend down the road. Buts other times if she sees one she thinks is dogie safe and that I will like it she buys its. Anyways when she comes home I always see if shes gots a stuffie for me, I checks the bag to if she doesnt hand me one and sometimes its not for me buts for her but I insist on taking it, anyways its got to be such a habit of me looking for my stufffie its come to my attention that sometimes I seem to be brining in the same one. Nows I checked and I havnt got two the same of any so I'm going to have to watch shes not cheating me out of stuffies.

Now when I was a little boy I used to chew and unstuff all my stuffies. I used to behead thems. Buts I'm goods now and just cuddle and carry thems around buts I dont like noisy stuffies, you know the ones thats grunt or squeek, Wilmot at Rainbow loved noisy ones, somtimes I likes to greet peoples with them. or whens Ailsa and Dads is playing with the silly red laser light I think is stupid I graps one of my stuffies to gets Dad to play with it instead.

Ailsa doesnt play with stuffies much except to tug of war with me buts she doesnt play thats much now. But she does have one special teddie, I gots one the same buts a differant colour. she tooks the nose of hers and I took the eyes off mine, we gots them from under the Christmas tree whens I was little. we never take the others teddie, they stay in our nigthtime beds. sometimes when Mums is cleaning them up we might pick up the others ted just to annoy buts we never harm them.

I picked this one and Ailsa gots the beatle bear cept she droped it in a puddle so it needed washin again, Mums insists on washing thems before we can have thems full time to take on the beds and things.

This week is Mandy. We dont have a lot of photos of her she wasnt a dog who liked having her photo taken and of course in her day it was the slow have to take to be developed ones, She came into our lives about 1978, she was about 9 months old, kids then 3 and 6 were not to keen on her as she was very mouthy and just wasnt Udo, it took awhile but she proved herself to have very special talents, one being tracking, not sure if they found that good or bad but there was no hiding from her, she proved a very wise, careing and adaptable dog who took house moves and traveling in her stride, because of town living she was an only dog for the first half of her life but being in town she had plenty of other dogs to play with.

This chair was in this house when we bought it. Its been the DOGs chair for many many years and still exists, but on the veranda. Theres always been a bit of an "ownership" about it, at the moment it belongs to Ailsa. This was taken about 1986

A town dog she may of been but she loved country life, she did eventually learn that furry creatures where not for her entertainment. She discovered a large grub that she would sniff and dig out, she would stand beside us when ever we were digging in the garden to grab them eventually the youngsters she had to keep her company also learned to like them, none of the dogs who did not have her lead has ever eaten them. We used to have strawberry plants around the garden but never had a strawberry off them till the day she died then we couldn't eat them as it was to sad that we had them, she could eat a bucket of apples at a blink of on eye, she would go through the fallen walnuts and know what ones had a nut in the shell, tomatoes were devoured, just on the turn, not to red but past the green. She would pluck all the blackberries without getting a scratch, found a couple of mineral spots that she would eat the dirt from, a trate passed on to each of her followers. She had heartworm TWICE, yes she was been given medication, we couldn't work out how she would of got it, she was treated successfully but a few months latter on another move we were packing her bed and down in the crease were all the tablets, we never figured out how she kept them in her mouth so long.

This is Lamby, one of many Lambs she cared for, we would give them there bottles but she looked after them, washing them, checking on them in there pens, she would be seen walking across the paddock with her "babies" following behind her.

Dads day in Garden

Hope all the Aussie Dads had a good Dads day today, for once it wasnt raining, it was a bit cool but Ailsa and I helped/directed the humans clean up some of the twigs and branches so we coulds run around wivout tripping up in a tangle of rubbish. Dads cleaned ups Tara's garden first, we thots we was going to have BBQ buts we didnts, thats was a bits confusing buts we dids have morning tea there. I hurts Ailsa as I was running round with a branch I was clearing ups and it hits her so thens I run around and around her buts she just stod there refusing to play then whens I wasnt looking she pounced me, anyways this is some of the time we spent working ands then running round the piles. OK I was running round the piles.

The weeks go so fast, we spents the day looking for Rainbows, the colour for this week, we are still getting rain so the rainbow that visits at Ailsa's sunbeam spot wasn't cooperating because we didnt have any sun.

I gots some stuffies that are close to rainbow buts mums did a tidy so you gots my rainbow pile, the BIG bear, monkey and beetle teddy is mys newest so beetle still has its sticky outs bits. Ailsa likes Big teddy as a pillow.

This was taken by our Skinsi while on her way home on Sunday .

The granny square rug, all the colours of a rainbow plus ridgeback hairs so there wasnt any need for us to be on its this time.

Whens we started with Flashback Tuesday is was from a packet of photos Mums found in the desk, most of me as a baby sucking up to Ailsa with a few photos of my Tanya and the Wilmot whos I didn't meet. It was looking through the photos Mums realised hows much were all linked together, a continuation, Mum had dogs all of her known life, Goldy, Rex, Judy, Ricky, Udo, Mandy, Wilmot, Tanya, Tara, Ailsa, and me Brodie. Mandy to me have all lived at this place, yet Udo is linked to Mandy as he died from heart failour while Mums, Dad and skinsibs were on holiday, in the next kennal was a dog he made friends with who a few weeks latter was on deaths row as she had been dumped there as her mums had had a skin baby so had no time for her. The kennal asked if our Mums an Dads would take her. So its "Here before blogging photos" They will be all mixed up.
