Clearing the desktop

When my Mums files the photos on puter she puts the ones shes likes on the desktop,  THEN forgets about them for days.   Anyway this is a mixed bag of shots so mums can clean up her desktop.

They (the humans) have all decided I'm strange as I have funny quirkie ways an I like doing funny things and I walk strange like putting my feet in the wrong order and I like to sit on things even if its not comfe and I like to undress dollies and teddies.. no bow is safe unless someone is watching as I only undress dollies and teddies if I'm alone.

I still have to have a long line when out and about if mums or dads cant watch me every minute as I disappear in a flash, I donts go far but I blend i so I cant be found.

Training Teesha

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi everyone. Ailsa here. Wells the kid is keeping me entertained, Mums is doing lots of training with her as she can be a bit thick, thats Teesha nots Mums.  Teesha just loves everybody and thing but is getting very defiant ands I didn't teach her thats as I'm a good girl, wells yes I do tell fibbers.

Mums is finding dog training a bit tediousdull as Teesha loses interest quickly, with all the rest of us she would intersperse it with play and give the cues during play but as Teesh doesn't play that doesn't work. Mums says she needs play as Teesha may lose interest quickly but she herself gets bored too so Teesha may be picking up on that. Mums would like to get Teesha evaluated for therapy work in the New year so may make a list of things Teesha has to pass, put it here on the blog and cross them off as its done.  That may help her keep on track. 

 Mums was doing "Step" its elevating the two front paws on something to make grooming easer for humans.

Mums puts jumps in the garden so I hads to show the kid whats to do with them, she has only just learned how to jump in the back of the car so now Mums doesnt need to take the ramp,  she still just walks over the jumps.  Mums has to keep themes low as I likes to use them so mights hurt myself.

 I do haves weaving poles from whens I was young, I recon she would like them buts dad used them in the veg garden and my tunnel gots compost in its, Mums going to see if she can reclaim a couple,

Rest time

  Mum has noticed that the kid has a preference for Loliepop colours, bright pinks, lime, purples, yellow that type of thing, the colours Mums hates.  She still doesn't play with toys or pick up things but likes to cuddle up in soft rugs and is picking bright colours, mums was having trouble getting her to go out to mat so gots a bright baby playmate from the opp shop, she loves it. Teesha that is and a barbie pink soft toy that she is showing a bit of interest in, she is also doing find the treat from under a bright pink cone.

Burtie is looking a bit sorry for himself as he gots bashed up by something. He goes across the lane to next doors barn so he  may of  gots in a fight, we don't have a feril cat problem around here so hope one isn't starting as he has a bad scratch in his ear and some punture wounds, it could also of been a quoll (or native cat) in which case he is lucky.  Jessie a previous cat, Burtie and Brodie pretty much chased stray wild ones off over the years so Burtie cant do it on his own at his age and I'm to old to help and Teesha, well lets face it, she would probably escort them to the dinner plate. SHE hasn't barked or even whimpered yet even when she got her paw trod ons.

We don't seem to be getting many Sunny days, just rain, wind and chill, though Ailsa isn't doing so well on warm days so maybe its just as well.

 Opps sorry, time flies when your having fun.  Well what can I say,  the kid is doing well, can be a bit defiant sometimes but as I've trained the humans well they should expect this from time to time from us,   were still having home alone problems though since I'm with her she's not actually alone and we get given a kong and have soft music playing buts who knows whats goes on in her little red head.  The shedbedroom is down to a reduced sized bed, no mattress, it got turned 4 times before it ran out of corners,  1 pillow (was 6) 0 donnas (was 2)  1 blanket (was 4) and a few remnants. I keep telling her the pillow is MINE,  we know theres some new stuff as she managed to get one of the drawers a bit open and get the corner of a new blankie out and chewed it off except it wasn't the corner but the middle of the edge so its  bin made into a coat as she shaped the neck right, isn't she clever (NOT), makes her own dog coats, the shed toy bin is down to a couple of chew rings and 1 soft toy ball.   

Home alone

She's doing well on drops and sits and stuff but isn't good on the lead as she zig zags, she is very touch sensitive so mums is thinking harness, she was going to get one she read about called Walkeez buts none of the places that used to sell them seem to have full size range and even though Teesh is still skinny she is very deep chested so gots to have quite a large one but in most harnesses that means the rest of it is to bigs.  Mums thinks they may of gone out of production so will have to do some more research to find something else nice and soft, she has been allowed in the padock with me as long as she has her long line on so a harness woulds be better with that.  mums tied a small kong on the ends of it so I played chaise with it cause the twit was running around.

Butter wouldn't melt in HER mouth

Mums is now taking her to dog club as theres more dogs and people around, she can't goes every week as its on the day skin sis comes to visit or Mum ands Dad goes to visit her. I don't goes as I get upset in the car now but I'm quite happy to stay ats home.  I do quite miss the entertainment I bin getting lately as Teesh goes as she loves the car.   She still wont play with toys, balls or stuffies. Mums made some throw toys with pockets in them to fill with treats, they are good funs. I likes them, geesh she's thick,  (thats teesh nots mums) I tolds her, stay dumb thens I gets all her treats.   bye for now  woofs, Ailsa

Wordless Wednesday 1 day late

Hi everyone.
Ailsa here. We thought it was time I said hello, as you know Brodie was the one that did most of the chatting as he was the kid in the family.   I spend a lot of time just laying around, as I can't run around any more as my legs forget what way they should be going but I still love to walk s-l-o-w-ly around the garden. I was 13 on May 11 so I have excuse to go slow.

My day is, sleep, eat, have tablets, walk round garden sleep, have tablets, eat sleep well you gets the idea, Mums said its a wonder I don't rattle.

Mums been trying to get a good photo of me but as soon as she clicks the button I put my head down.   she thought it might be the flashy but thinks I hear it click as she tried putting flashy thing off but made no difference.

 

As you will see from the photos I've taken up Bros spot in the kitchen to keep an eye on food preparation.  I still have the bed under the kitchen table that was put there when I was sick, I use that in the daytime.

I sleeps a lot

ON the news front, I've heard them talking about some dog thats might be coming to live with us, she's a long long way away, she has a big road trip that has to be organised and thens she will be puts on one of those big birds that swallow you up and make loud noises then spits you out at some other place,.  I know all abouts big birds as when I was a pup I was put on one and they lost me so I have always been frightened of noise, then Mums and Dads will take a drive and bring her to live with us.

I drinks LOts of water now so its been moved into the kitchen.

 Burtie is fine, doesn't have Brodie to cuddle up to so is hassling mums a bit but he did see that there are a lot of look a likes on the computer so might start a club.

 

 I'll hate to tell the new girl when she arrives  but ALL the beds are mine, I uses them all at different times of the day,  she wont get here for week or so as she has just had operation.  She has a family that loves her buts for her own safety she had to be rehomed so mums found her through rescue, she has to learn to live in a house, just as long as she knows the beds are mine.
