Ronan belonged to our Skin Bro. She moved in with him because her family couldn't keep her anymore. Skin Bro had just left home and was for the first time in his life on his own in his own flat. Ronan has been with him ever since in all the ups and downs of life. she didn't mind car travel and with her fur sis who moved in with them a few years later (Burtys Mums) used to came to visit sometimes and stayed with us when Skin Bro went on holidays. But she was finding it hard to breath and last week X-rays showed what was probably lung cancer, today she left for Rainbow bridge.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. There bright eyes are intent. The eager body quivers. Suddenly they begin to run from the group, flying over the green grass, there legs carrying them faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

1. I'ms aloof with outsiders but accept people at a distance once I know there safe. (brodie says stuck ups)

1. My skin brother gave me to Mums and Dad when a stray cat he gave a home to had us kittens.

3. Whens I was a kitten Ailsa wolds carry me around everywere tills I got to heavey an then she used to drag me around. I thinks I'm a dog.
4. I go for a morning walks around the garden with thems dogs.
5. I turn up for morning tea to have my treats the same as thems dogs.
6. I runs around with thems dogs buts mums stops me in case I gets hurt buts I gots lots of trees I can runs up. .
7. Ims an outside cat by choice thats has to stay inside ats night because mums says so in case the feral cats might gets me.

True Colours Thursday, Peach

Peach teddy, think the other one is living with skin sis, give it time an this one will me MINE, I'mm acctually verys good with my stuffies, the odd eye or nose off but most times I just make them soggy.

WE scourd the whole house and garden for the colour Peach with very little luck. Mums has just said to me, "we didn't check my fabric" well, to bad if she thinks I'm going off with the flashy thing when its very near time for beds shes wrong, we has so little luck finding peach that we finished of the chalange tonight with the purple sky. You will note the rose. Its winter, we dont have any, I like to give them a nibble so when I saw it I just had to have a taste, SHe Twicked ME, it was pawtend, now she hates pawtend flowers so whats she doing twicking me. The spikes are real as to the flower Ailsa and I pull its to bits so then she had to puts it together again for the chalange befores she diped it into food colouring to make it pink just to show shes cheating to. We hads no poppies either but it is in a bed of barly, ok so its in a bail buts its just said bed, an it didnt say anything bout the swan having to be in water which is just as well as its on a wooden base. Hmmm, one oter thing, the flower in the grass, it was standing nice and upright, buts we took ages finding a flower that looked likes it was in grass, we walked the padocks an all around the garden so by the times we founds it I was knackered so as mums got the flashy thing outs I, well I, just layed downs, and um, did a roll, wells I was exited wes had found one, i really didnt mean to squash it. Mums proped its up with a bit of dirt whiles mumbling about Is gots 14 acres to lay down in whys I pick thats spot. Sheshs, hows thats for gratitude, I helped founds it in the first place.

Wordless Wednesday (4)

Box of treats.

At last, at looong last they gots some. Our favourite bickies, theys really greyhound bickies but were not fussed we likes them. we bin having them since we was tiny puppies, then the place that made them got burned down then someone else started to makes them, nots as nice an hard but nice alls the same. Then whens our mums went to gets us a new box a couple of months ago she was told these wasnt being made now. wellls we was devistated, she gots some bone shaped things that got swallowed in one crunch ans wasnt as satisfying, wells she knows that cause we didnt sloppers so much. We used to gets a half one before we goes to bed cept these dont have a dint in the middle for her to break so maybe we'lls get a whole one, i'lls tell yous tomorrow. thens we gets one for morning tea and we gets them when they both goes out likes today they both went to hydra therypy what ever that is. Anyways she went to the doggie food wherhouse to gets some more of the bone shaped things and they had our 4by2s (thats whats they called) we was so exited when we saw thems, we help opens the box, mums didnt gets many photos cause she couldn't hold camera and stop us nicking them, thy gets put in a big white bucket and is puts in the cupboard and sometimes when its full we can flip the lid and pinch them, cept nows she puts somting on the lids so we cants

Sleepy Sunday 1

Well what can I say, nufin, its wet, its bin pouring all weekend, hasnt stoped, now were as i dont mind paddling my paws in the water on a hot sunny day I do nots like wet fallin down from the sky ons me, nither does my Ailsa " do you Ailsa", she hates it, even more then mes ands if I coulds use that flashy thing I coulds show you my mums prising and pushing our Ailsa out to go to toilet, beany bag dog, since mums hasnt scaned any of our vintage pics she was going to do for us you can see whats we bin doing all weekends.

Ran out of time as we spents most of our spare times looking for a rose for Blues challenge Mums was looking for her navy teddy, I's not telling were it is but its not were its suppose to be so she had to use these two with there Navy overalls

This is Mums coffee mug,its gots her favrit animals on its, its gots navy bits around the dogs.

Our skin sis an us having secrets, she's got on a navy jumper.

Next week the colour is Peach, now thats going to be a hard one. nows I know I have a peach ted. umm well mums has one.

Wordless Wednesday 3

Its Cold.

Its been to cold to do much this weekend, Skin sis was here so we gots lots of extra cuddles, they wents up the road to see the snow, we dont often gets snow at our place but we gets the wind comming offs the mountins so its frezzes our butts.

True Colour Thursday (lemon)

We hads so much trouble finding lemon for Blues True Colour Thursday other than the actual fruit. We did think about going to Maggie and Mitch's garden then taking some photos of the computer screen so as to keeps it proper at having my own photos since they had lots of lemon flowers in there garden. Buts we peserverd

It took some serching but down in the bottom of the pile I found pupsical

Then we discovered another set up, glad to say Mums not so clever this time and did not manage to get the pics of us knocking it off the table and Ailsa trying to use the bucket as a buster cube. these are our best ever favorit yummies an our skin sis gets them for us at the Salamanca Market in Hobart so they really are treats as they have to last us a while. Here we are discusing how manys we can eat without gettings found out. The anser it seeems in non buts we did have a few.
An some lemons, they gots made into Lemon Delight pudding an we gots some to as we like lemon puddings.
This is for the car window when we goes for a ride but so far we havn't been in ours new car yets.
